Awakening

The Buddha discussed the arising, growth and attainment of seven facrtors od awakening through abiding in them in conjunction with conscious breathing:

  1. Attention: Full attention is the first effect of awakening,
  2. Observation: Obsrvation with full attention can unlock hidden secrets of all that exists,
  3. Energy: Enegy develops to persevere in diligent observation until success is achieved,
  4. Joy: Joy in attentive and energetic observervation, 
  5. Ease: Feeling easy and calm while being fully involved,
  6. Concentration: Sustenance of one pointed focus in full concentration, and
  7. Unattachment: Letting go of all that exists, all preconceived notions.

These seven factors when practiced lead diligently result in liberation from the bondage of all that exists: emancipation.
