The Buddha discussed the arising, growth and attainment of seven facrtors od awakening through abiding in them in conjunction with conscious breathing:
- Attention: Full attention is the first effect of awakening,
- Observation: Obsrvation with full attention can unlock hidden secrets of all that exists,
- Energy: Enegy develops to persevere in diligent observation until success is achieved,
- Joy: Joy in attentive and energetic observervation,
- Ease: Feeling easy and calm while being fully involved,
- Concentration: Sustenance of one pointed focus in full concentration, and
- Unattachment: Letting go of all that exists, all preconceived notions.
These seven factors when practiced lead diligently result in liberation from the bondage of all that exists: emancipation.
